First China-Iran Economic Opportunities Seminar held in Shanghai
In the year of 138 BC, the emperor of the Han Dynasty commanded Zhang Qian to a mission tothe western regions. He opened the famous Silk Road. He probably never thought that themeaning of the silk road would stand for more than the route itself now, more than 2000 yearslater. The silk road is given a new life today.
The First Iran-China Silk Road Economic Opportunities Seminar was successfully held onSeptember 8th, 2016 in Shanghai, organized by IRANCHAM-Shanghai and TPO Iran and aimingat enhancing and strengthening bilateral cooperation and boosting the new fields of jointinvestments between the two countries. Representatives from all cultures numbering over 160people gathered together under the same roof, including but not limited to Consulate General ofI.R.IRAN-Shanghai, TPO Iran, IRANCHAM-Shanghai, IRISL, I.R.IRAN FTZ, CCPIT-Shanghai,CCOIC-Shanghai, Shanghai Pudong New Area Commission of Commerce, ZhejiangDepartment of Commerce, Yiwu government and Chinese company ZPMC.
